Acromioclavicular ligaments (anatomy)
The acromioclavicular ligaments are little more than thickenings of the fibrous capsule around the acromioclavicular joints. They are fibrous bands of variable thickness most commonly sited inferiorly and superiorly. They pass between the lateral end of the clavicle and the acromion.
