Anterior sternoclavicular ligament (anatomy)
The anterior sternoclavicular ligament is a thickening of the capsule of the sternoclavicular joint. It is a fibrous band that stretches from the anterosuperior part of the medial end of the clavicle to the anterosuperior part of the manubrium sterni.
It is stronger than the posterior sternoclavicular ligament.
