Knee locking
This is the phenomenon where the patient finds that they are unable to fully extend the knee.
It may occur with:
- medial shelf syndrome
- meniscal tear
- osteochondritis dissecans
- loose bodies within the joint:
- fracture of the patella
- fracture of an osteophyte
