Digital surgery
Typically in arthrogryposis, the fingers are stiff, flexed and ulnarly deviated. The thumb is typically clasped into the palm. A full range of motion at affected joints is unattainable and the usual treatment is that of an osteotomy to position individual digits in a better functional position. Thumb position may be improved with osteotomies or tendon transfers.
