Treacher-Collins syndrome
Treacher-Collins syndrome encompasses a spectrum of ear and facial malformations caused by first and second pharyngeal arch malformations.
It is inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, with frequent incomplete expression. 60% of cases are new mutations.
This syndrome may be the result of mutations in the TCOF1 gene.
