Anti-striated muscle antibody test
Antibodies against striated muscle may be detectable in over 90% of patients with myasthenia and thymoma, and in about 30% of other myasthenia patients.
Patients whom are negative both for anti-striated muscle antibody and anti-ACh receptor antibodies are unlikely to have thymoma.
