Autonomic symptoms

The autonomic symptoms of parkinsonism are varied:

  • flushing of the skin accompanied by a sensation of heat and sweating
  • poor heat toleration
  • low resting blood pressure with a tendency to orthostatic hypotension
  • rarely, oedema and cyanosis of a limb
