Drug-induced myopathy
Various drugs may cause a drug induced subacute proximal myopathy including:
- diamorphine
- alcohol
- clofibrate
- choloroquine
- quinine
- lithium
- emetine
- corticosteroids
- all drugs causing hypokalaemia, e.g. diuretics
