Investigations
Investigations may include:
- examination of relatives with a Wood's light
- CT or MRI imaging of the brain to detect tubers and calcification; it is important to detect any tubers which may obstruct CSF flow, particularly at the foramen of Monro
- echocardiography if any cardiac rhabdomyomas are suspected
