Incomplete cortical blindness syndromes are disorders of higher visual processing. The visual fields and acuity may be normal but damage to the visual association cortex results in an inability to perceive visual objects normally.

Incomplete cortical blindness syndromes include:

  • visuospatial disorientation or Balint's syndrome
  • agnosias
  • achromatopsia
  • motion blindness
