Lid laceration
Eyelid wounds require prompt suturing to restore the lid margin. They heal well because of their profuse blood supply
The following must be checked for:
- foreign body
- damage to the eyeball itself
- damage to the lacrimal duct
- missing skin - often underestimated
- tetanus cover
