Axilla and nodes
Examine the axilla, supraclavicular fossae and cervical region for adenopathy. Note node side and mobility.
Palpate the left axilla with the right hand and vice versa. Support the weight of the patients arm so as to relax the axillary muscles. Hold the fingers of the examining hand in a curve and press high into the apex of the axilla against the chest wall.
