Eisenmenger's complex
Eisenmenger's complex describes the situation in which blood flow through an original left-to-right cardiac shunt becomes reversed or bidirectional. It is a result of reactive pulmonary hypertension causing pulmonary pressure to exceed systemic pressure.
Deoxygenated blood is mixed with systemic blood producing cyanosis.
