At 6 months - fine motor skills
- will grasp a one inch cube placed on the table using a palmar grasp
- transfer from one hand to the other begins at this age. The palmar grasp is not very steady and the cube is soon dropped.
- if offered a second cube, usually drops the first and then grasps the second
- most objects are put into mouth
