Hip disorders in childhood
Certain hip disorders are characteristically seen in certain age groups:
- birth - congenital dislocation
- 0 to 5 - infections
- 5 to 10 - Perthes' disease, transient synovitis
- 10 to 20 - slipped epiphysis
