Management of hypovolaemic shock
- control the bleeding if possible
- lay the patient face-up with the legs raised
- set up i.v. line and run through one litre of 0.9% saline and one litre of Haemaccel immediately
- set up another Haemaccel to go through in 10-15 mins
- give 100% oxygen
