Right/left cardiac development and situs inversus
Dextrocardia without situs inversus and levocardia with situs inversus are almost always associated with severe malformations
that include various combinations of:
- single ventricle
- arterial transposition
- pulmonary stenosis
- ventricular and atrial septal defects
- anomalous pulmonary venous drainage
- tricuspid and pulmonary atresia
