Uncomplicated alcohol withdrawal

- coarse tremor (of the hands, tongue and eyelids)
- nausea and vomiting
- weakness and malaise
- anxiety, irritability and depressed mood
- headache and insomnia
- autonomic hyperactivity, for example, tachycardia, raised blood pressure
- transient hallucinations and illusions
