  • computerised CBT is CBT delivered via a computer interface or over the telephone with a computer led response
  • computer programme is interactive making appropriate responses to patient input

CBT has been shown to be both effective and cost-effective in reducing depressive symptoms, and may reduce the number of sickness absence days from work, whether this is face to face or CCBT (1,2).
