Delusional memories
This term refers to the delusional interpretation of events which are correctly remembered.
For example, a patient who believes that there is a plot to poison him, may attribute new significance to an occasion when he happened to vomit after eating food.
This has to be distinguished from recall of a delusional idea that was formed at the time.
