Stem-cell transplantation in severe systemic SLE
Patients with multiorgan SLE who do not respond to cyclophosphamide treatment have a high mortality.
Seven patients with severe SLE who had not responded to standard treatment with cyclophosphamide were treated with high dose chemotherapy and stem-cell transplantation.
