Carbenicillin
Indications:-
- infections due to Pseudomonas and Proteus species
Cautions:-
- history of allergy & renal impairment
Contra-indications:-
- penicillin hypersensitivity.
Side-effects:-
- alteration in platelet function
- hypokalaemia

Routes of administration:-
- IM injection
- Slow IV injection
- IM infusion
