- stemphylium canugenosum
- helminthic infections:
- Ascaris lumbricoides - Loeffler's syndrome
- filariasis - tropical eosinophilia
- Strongyloides
- drugs e.g. sulphonamides
- others:
- lymphangiography
- blood transfusion
- idiopathic - cryptogenic pulmonary eosinophilia
- Churg-Strauss syndrome
