The right superior lobe of the lung is divided into three bronchopulmonary segments on the basis of the division of the right superior lobe bronchus into three segmental bronchi:

  • apical bronchopulmonary segment; right bronchopulmonary segment number one - supplied by apical segmental bronchus
  • anterior bronchopulmonary segment; right bronchopulmonary segment number three - supplied by anterior segmental bronchus
  • posterior bronchopulmonary segment; right bronchopulmonary segment number two - supplied by posterior segmental bronchus
