Juvenile melanoma
Spindle-cell naevi are benign, and present as a smooth- surfaced, firm, dome-shaped nodules, usually red-brown, but they may be black or have a wart-like appearance.
Histology:
- cells within lesion are generally spindle-shaped
- also multi-nucleated giant cells
- mitoses are present
Treatment:
- excision of lesion
