  • step2: consider the need for sedation
  • step3: cardiovert 100 Joules
  • step4: if SVT persists, cardiovert 200 Joules
  • step5: if SVT persist, cardiovert 360 Joules
  • step6: if SVT persists then consider pharmacological intervention

Amiodarone may be useful in persistent SVT.
