Bone mineral density remeasurement
If bone loss measured by BMD is greater than 4% at the spine or 7% at the hip after 1 year start therapy.
These figures are based upon the "least significant change" which can be detected in an individual at the spine or hip - Grade B.
Otherwise BMD measurements should be repeated at 1-3 years depending on the results of BMD assessment. - Grade C.
