Urethral discharge
This occurs when there is urethritis usually caused by one of two organisms:
- Early Gonorrhoea infection - discharge is purulent
- Chlamydia trachomatis - discharge is muco-purulent
The discharge is often more copious in the morning when urine has not been voided for a few hours.
