- the KVLQT1 gene
- codes for a potassium channel alpha subunit
- LQT2:
- the HERG gene
- codes for a potassium channel subunit
- LQT3:
- the SCN5A gene
- codes for a sodium channel subunit
- LQT4:
- no gene yet identified
