A summary list of items allowed in an exclusion diet is presented below:

  • fish - white fish
  • meats - chicken, lamb
  • vegetables - cabbage, sprouts, beans, carrots, peas
  • fruit - all fruit except citrus fruits, e.g. oranges
  • cereals - rice, millet, buckwheat, tapioca
  • oils - olive, sunflower, soya
  • dairy - goats' milk, cheese from goats and sheep, soya milk
  • drinks - apple, tomato, and pineapple juices
  • other allowed items include spices, honey, sugar, herbs, and sea salt
