  • tuberculous meningitis
  • fungal meningitis
  • bacterial meningitis
  • viral encephalitis
  • cerebral abscesses
  • granulomatous cerbral vasculitis
  • neurosyphilis
  • subdural haematoma
  • malignancy
  • hypothyroidism
  • diabetes mellitus
  • Froin's syndrome
  • motor neurone disease
