The clinical features of this condition are variable, but patients are often of short stature and they sometimes have dentinogenesis imperfecta.

They exhibit moderate skeletal fragility and there may be many fractures at birth and a few in childhood.

The presence of dentinogenesis imperfecta determines the subtype:

  • absence defines subtype A
  • presence defines subtype B
