Reassurance may be all that is needed; improvement with age should be emphasised.

Topical moisturisers and keratolytics containing urea, lactic acid or salicylic acid, can be used for the treatment of Keratosis Pilaris (1,2).

  • for example salicylic Acid 2-4% in Emulsifying Ointment or Soft White Paraffin may lead to improvement in this condition

Other treatment options include vitamin D3 analogs, topical systemic retinoids and various laser therapies (3)
