weight gain secondary to reduced glucose losses in the urine
gastrointestinal disturbance

Sensitivity reactions include:
transient rashes which may progress to erythema multiforme and exfoliative dermatitis
fever
jaundice
haematological disturbances including aplastic anaemia
facial flushing may be associated with chlorpropamide
