Authoring team

A recent case control study has investigated the possible link between measles vaccine and Crohn's disease. The study revealed no support for the hypothesised link with any form of inflammatory bowel disease and measles vaccination.

The Chief Medical Officer, after reviewing the current evidence, has concluded that there is no evidence to support suggestions that measles or MMR vaccines are implicated in Crohn's or autism.
