  • chest x-ray - cardiomegaly (enlarged right atrium, right ventricle).
  • echocardiography - right atrial and right ventricular enlargement with abnormal tricuspid cusps. Doppler scanning reveals regurgitation.
  • cardiac catheterization and angiography - thickened cusps, tricuspid regurgitation.
