Grading of a tumour is based on - degree of glandular formation, mitotic rate, nuclear pleomorphism; each scored from 1-3. Score

  • well differentiated - grade I (3-5)
  • moderately differentiated - grade II (6-7)
  • poorly differentiated - grade III (8-9)
