Vaughan Williams classification of antiarrhythmics

This classification of the antiarrhythmics was proposed by Vaughan Williams in 1970, and subdivides the drugs on the basis of their activity on the myocardial action potential.

There are four classes, of which class I is subdivided into three groups.
