  • cardiac, renal, metabolic (hyperproteinaemia) causes
  • lipoedema

Unilateral lymphoedema:

  • lymphoma
  • malignancy involving iliac and lumbar lymph nodes
  • venous occlusion - eg. deep vein thrombosis, stricture, compression

Groin mass:

  • inguinal hernia
