Chronic leukaemia

Chronic leukaemias are characterised by a relatively slow natural course. Two sub-types are recognised:

  • chronic myeloid or chronic granulocytic leukaemias
  • chronic lymphocytic leukaemias

Note that CML is a myeloproliferative disorder and is quite different than CLL.
