Clinical features
There is a wide spectrum of disease but in general the severity is less than MPS I:
- coarse facial features
- short stature
- hepatosplenomegally
- joint stiffness
- herniae
- mental retardation
- deafness
- kyphosis
Hunter and Hurler syndromes may be differentiated:
- nodes over the scapula are seen in Hunter but not Hurler
- corneal clouding is seen in Hurler but not Hunter
