- tumours of the bladder:
- papilloma
- carcinoma, papillary, nodular, ulcerative or adenocarcinoma
- sarcoma
- haemangioma
- enlarged prostate
- carcinoma of the prostate
- tuberculosis of the bladder or prostate
- calculus
- acute cystitis
- chronic interstitial cystitis (Hunner's ulcer)
- radiation cystitis
- purpura
- injury
- schistosomiasis
- foreign body
