Presenting features include:
- separation anxiety reappearing in adolescence
- antisocial behaviour, particularly occurring in males after bereavement
- falling off in school performance with poor concentration
- apathy, boredom, loss of ability to experience pleasure
- hypochondriacis
- self harm
- persistent unhappiness, tearfulness etc.
