Cardiovascular (CV) examination
The patient, suitably undressed, should lie on an examination couch with the head and neck at 45 degrees to the horizontal.
The following features of a patient should be observed during a cardiovascular examination:
- general appearance
- hands
- blood pressure
- face
- neck
- praecordium
- back
- abdomen
- other
