Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
NICE suggest that clinicians should:
- not normally offer SSRIs - but if no suitable alternatives can be anti-inflammatory drugs identified, offer gastroprotective medicines (for example, proton pump (NSAIDs) inhibitors) together with the SSRI
- consider mianserin, mirtazapine, moclobemide, reboxetine or trazodone
