Complications
Most hepatic haemangiomata are asymptomatic, however the following complications may occur:
- abdominal pain and fullness
- fever, thrombocytopaenia and hypofibrinogenaemia due to coagulation within the tumour, and rarely,
- malignant transformation
- spontaneous rupture
