Clinical examination of the hand
There are many signs to be found in the hand and this is just a brief outline of examination. Before examining, the upper limbs should be exposed to above the elbow. Both hands should be examined together.
The examination consists of:
- inspection
- palpation
- movement
- neurological assessment
