Kohler's disease is an osteochondritis of the navicular bone that generally presents in children. The child complains of pain and tenderness over the dorsum of the mid-foot.

Radiologically on AP films, the navicular bone shows increased density and is relatively decreased in size relative to the other side.

If the foot is rested for a few weeks then the pain usually resolves.
