The clinical features of anterior inferior cerebellar artery stroke are dependent on region affected:
Cerebellar features:
- ipsilateral limb ataxia
Brainstem features:
- ipsilateral Horner's syndrome
- ipsilateral sensory loss - pain and temperature to the face - cranial V
- ipsilateral facial weakness and paralysis of lateral gaze - cranial VII
- contralateral sensory loss - pain and temperature of limbs and trunk - spinothalamic tract
