Treatment
The treatment of this condition depends upon the amount of disability suffered by the patient.
In the case of an anterior dislocation, the capsule may be reconstructed with successful results.
For posterior dislocation the prognosis is poorer, since the condition often requires both soft tissue reconstruction and bone operation.
